Rock’N The Beach is South Carolina’s largest New Years Eve Celebration. The even takes place in Downtown Myrtle Beach, Ocean Blvd from 9th avenue to Mr. Joe White Avenue.

Holiday Window Decorations
Visit downtown. You will be glad you did. Our merchants await you this holiday season so much so the windows are decorated with a special treat for you.
Scavenger Hunt
Our Downtown Scavenger Hunt challenges participants to explore the local downtown area while completing 5 types of tasks. Information regarding tasks will be printed of the back of the “Scavenger Hunt” Card. It is designed to guide participants to various locations each search for the Beach Ball Icon. The card is stamped and participant moves on to the next location. Drop off your card on NYE at our Rock’n the Beach Booth by 10pm. There will be drawing throughout the night selecting winners with completed cards. Drawings should begin after 10 pm.
Food Vendors
OMG….Come hungry. We have all types of food vendors ready to tantalize your taste buds. And if nice hot beverage is what you need, then look no more we have that covered too. For those over 21 please see ID wrist band locations/ticket locations first.
Parking
Please use the Pavilion Parking Garage. This is where you will receive your NYE gift bag. The bag will be filled with our “Special Gift” to you along with gifts & savings from area merchants. Also at the parking garage you can purchase your NYE VIP Card. The NYE VIP Card gives you fast passage through the beverage lines. That’s right…you get your very own NYE VIP beverage line providing quick service and no delays.
Family Fun
What every family needs….a free night out. Your kids will enjoy the Plyler Park Area. Here you will find face painting, characters and performers and “Chalk the Walk”. The Horry County Arts and Cultural Council has done everything to make sure this Kids Zone is full of fun and excitement. Steps away enjoy a carriage ride and admire our mural of the boardwalk.
New Year’s Eve on stage entertainment
Relax with us and enjoy the harmonious sounds of Jazz, R&B, Beach Music, Country, and Gospel. You name it…we will have it. We even have a Dixie Strolling Band to walk through the crowd.
Carriage Rides with continuous street entertainment
Make it a night to remember. Take a carriage ride with your loved ones. While on your ride enjoy the colorful street performers, music, and lively entertainment. Most importantly be ready to record your New Year’s Eve message and have it aired on the Jumbotron.
Horry County Arts and Cultural Council Champagne Toast
As rituals have it…New Year’s Eve isn’t New Year’s Eve without a champagne toast and singing “Auld Lang Syne” with friends. Look for the Horry County Arts and Cultural Council Team as they direct celebrators to the champagne and cheer.

Prepares celebrators for our Twenty Ten finale
Ball Bounce
We all have brought in the New Year watching the ball drop, but not this year. In true Myrtle Beach, South Carolina fashion we will have a new tradition. Just keep your eye on the ball as we count “up” to 2010.
Fireworks Watch and enjoy as our pyrotechnics paint the sky in explosive color. The spectacle is enhanced by its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, providing great viewing locations all around the downtown area, along the ocean and from Kings Hwy.
